I Got Soul Performing Arts has been running for over 30 years from our base in Ruislip, Middlesex. I GOT SOUL Youth Dance Company were created by principals Sam and Alexia McAvoy in 2003 as a platform for the more progressed students of Soul to showcase their talents to industry professionals. A natural progression led to debuting our crews at these showcases as well.

Every year we produce a showcase in London and invite professionals from within the industry to come and see the high level of talent that exists within our Company and Crew. This year we bring you “Tamashii” a Japanese themed, dark, theatrical show featuring a wide range of dance styles including street, lyrical and breaking... and a few other surprises as well.

Sam and Alexia McAvoy have over the years accumulated a vast number of credits between them in their roles as creative directors and chorographers working on tours with established worldwide music artists and TV companies such as BBC, ITV, Sky and MTV to name just a few.

Our Company and Crew have a wide range of credits between them including performing at Disneyland Paris, Capital FM’s Summertime Ball and various corporate events, in the West End on shows such as Cinderella, Dreamgirls and Bodyguard, on TV shows such as X Factor and The Brits, in large scale film productions Wonka and Matilda, as well as performances all over the world in countries like Cyprus, France and America. I GOT SOUL Youth Dance Company also represented London at Youth Dance England 2 years running. Most recently they performed with The Wanted on ITV’s Strictly Does The Full Monty.

Our breakers, aka House of Rebels, have also received high honours of their own and are now being recognised within the breaking community. They are coached by Lee Crowley, aka B-Boy "Reckless Lee". Lee has travelled extensively, competing and performing with Soul Mavericks Crew both abroad and in the UK. Highlights with the crew include 5 x National UK Bboy champions, "Battle of the Year" and Finalists at the "UK B-boy Championships World Finals".
